The “Al Bayan” app is an educational application designed for children aged 2.5 to 12 years, used through accounts managed by a parent/guardian or a school.
The application does not provide chats or comments between students.

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide the educational service and operate subscriptions. This may include:

a) Account Information
Student name or identifier (may be a nickname).
Parent or school email address (for account management, recovery, and support).
School name, class, or educational identifiers associated with the account (if applicable).

b) Educational Data Within the Platform
Learning progress, results, answers, and records of completed lessons and activities.

c) Content Uploaded by the Student
Images of worksheets uploaded for educational purposes (correction, evaluation, or follow-up).
Audio recordings of the student reading within questions and stories for educational purposes only.

d) Technical and Operational Data
Basic technical information such as device type and operating system version, as well as error logs used to improve performance and security.

We use the data only for the following purposes:
Creating and managing accounts (by the parent/guardian or school).
Providing educational content and saving progress and results.
Enabling image uploads and audio recordings within learning activities.
Operating subscriptions and enabling access to paid content.
Protecting the platform from misuse and improving stability and performance.

Subscriptions may be managed by a parent/guardian, a school, or both.
When payments are made through Google Play, payment information is processed by Google according to its policies, and we do not store payment card details on our servers.

We do not sell data or share it for advertising purposes.
We may use service providers (such as hosting, infrastructure, security, or error monitoring services) to operate the application, strictly within operational needs and under confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Progress reports and results may be shared with the parent/guardian or school according to the permissions granted to the managed account.

We follow the principle of data minimization and restrict non-educational uses:
No chats, comments, or social interaction between students.
No targeted advertising to children and no advertising tracking.
Images and audio recordings are used only within an educational context under the supervision of the parent/guardian or school.

We retain data as long as the account remains active and for legitimate educational and operational purposes.
Backup copies may be retained for a limited period for security and operational reasons and are then automatically deleted.

We apply appropriate security measures, including data encryption during transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and access control mechanisms.

Parents/guardians or schools may request:
Access to or correction of data.
Deletion of the account and associated data (including worksheet images and audio recordings).
